Contact Dynamics of Continuous Media and Disc Brake Squeal

This research is a collaboration between Professors Panos Papadopoulos and Oliver M. O’Reilly, their graduate students and colleagues.   The applications of this work include axially moving media, brake squeal, and Euler's disk.  The work is primarily supported by the National Science Foundation under grant number CMS0084808. Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation.
