Parking at UC Berkeley

All-day public parking ( between 7:00 am – 12:00 am / 5:00 am)

Public parking is available at the following locations (in order to their proximity to the Sibley auditorium):

Lower Hearst Garage Level 2:
Hearst Avenue at the corner of Scenic Avenue. This is the parking lot that is closest to the Sibley Auditorium.
Approximate Address: 2400 Hearst Ave, Berkeley, CA 94709

    Note: The Yahoo driving directions above are incomplete. Continue Hearts Ave. going east (up the hill) until the stop light with Euclid Ave. Make a U turn at the Euclid Ave. stop light and you will find the parking structure half a block west on the right hand side.

Please note: Parking permits are obtained at the parking lot’s pay station. You must pay cash.

Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Student Union Garage:
 Location: On Bancroft just below Telegraph. Located on the campus (right) side of Bancroft. Note that Bancroft is one-way from east to west in the vicinity of campus.

Most university parking facilities are available for public parking after 5:00 PM (except those where restrictive parking as explicitly stated).

Evening public parking that is closest to the faculty club:

Bancroft Parking Structure: Located in Bancroft way at the corner of College Ave.

Approximate Address: 2626 Bancroft Way. Berkeley, CA 94709 (on the right rather than the left side of the street).

Boalt Lot: This lot is inside the campus. The campus entrance to this lot is located at 2234 Piedmont Ave. Berkeley, CA 94720

Enter off of Gayley Road on the small road just south of the Haas Business School (and north of the Law School). As you enter the campus you will see a round building on the left (Calvin Lab), Haas Business School on the right, and the Optometry School in front. As you go past the Business School and approach the Optometry School, turn south (left).
