Invitation This meeting will be held Monday - Tuesday, June 19-20, 2006, following the 2006 American Control Conference. Locations The conference will take place in the Sibley Auditorium of U.C. Berkeley at the Bechtel Engineering Center. Information All are welcome to attend and participate in this two-day symposium on Mechanical Systems Control. The symposium will be organized along areas in which Professor Tomizuka has made a significant impact, and several of the keynote addresses will be of a tutorial nature. Students are particularly encouraged to attend, and the members of the organizing committee are currently seeking financial support for student travel and accommodations. Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Doubletree Hotel at the Berkeley Marina and the Durant Hotel in Berkeley at a special rate of $120/night.Banquet: A banquet in honor of Professor Tomizuka will take place Monday evening, June 19 th, at the Faculty Club in U.C. Berkeley. Wine Tasting Tour on Sunday June 18th: A one-day pre-symposium wine-tasting tour of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys will take place on Sunday June 18 th. Students attending the conference are encouraged to present their ongoing research work during the symposium’s poster sessions.
