Symposium attendees, except for students and international invited speakers, are expected to pay a the full registration fee and fill in a registration form.

Student attendees are expected to pay a student registration fee. Subject to final approval by NSF, travel grants of $350 will be available to 60 students from outside the Bay Area to attend the symposium. Students that wish to apply for this travel grant must complete the student registration form.

Registered attendees are entitled to attend the opening ceremony and the banquet, both of which will be held at the Berkeley Faculty Club respectively on the evenings of Sunday, June 18th and Monday June 19th. Registered attendees will also receive on-site breakfast, lunch, coffee and pastries during the two-day symposium.

Additional banquet tickets:

Additional banquet tickets for accompanying persons can be ordered for $100 each, before June 12 th.

Wine Tasting Tour Tickets:

A wine tasting tour will take place on Sunday June 18th. The price of each wine tasting tour ticket is $100. If the minimum necessary number of ticket sales is not attained, the tour will be cancelled and the cost of the ticket will be refunded.

Domestic Symposium Attendants:

Domestic symposium attendants are requested to pay registration fees by either sending a check or a wire transfer, and to fill the registration form.

International Symposium Attendants:

International symposium attendants are requested to fill the registration form, and may pay the registration fees either by a direct wire transfer in US dollars or by on-site payment with cash or travel checks.

International symposium attendants that require an invitation letter, should contact Professor Roberto Horowitz by e-mail at horowitz@berkeley.edu to request the letter, after filling the registration form.
