If you are planning to fly to the Symposium, it is convenient to fly into Oakland Airport, which is a bit closer to Berkeley than San Francisco Airport. At either airport, there are shuttle services available from Bayporter Express (415)467-1800 or Bay Area Shuttle (510)444-2211. Shuttles cost approximately $20. A taxi costs approximately $35. If you are driving to the Berkeley campus from either SFO or OAK, take I-80 eastbound toward Berkeley and Sacramento. Exit at the University Avenue exit, which will take you eastbound on University Avenue, toward the University. See this web site for further information.

City of Berkeley Center Street Garage, 2025 Center Street between Shattuck and Milvia Street (nearest parking to University Hall).
City of Berkeley Sather Gate Garage, located on Durant between Dana and Telegraph (southside of campus). Enter from Channing Way or Durant Ave.
University of California Student Union Garage, located on Bancroft just West of Telegraph (southside parking).
