Travel information... If you are planning to fly to the Symposium, it is convenient to fly into Oakland Airport, which is a bit closer to Berkeley than San Francisco Airport. At either airport, there are shuttle services available from Bayporter Express (415)467-1800 or Bay Area Shuttle (510)444-2211. Shuttles cost approximately $20. A taxi costs approximately $35. If you are driving to the Berkeley campus from either SFO or OAK, take I-80 eastbound toward Berkeley and Sacramento.
