Mail

In accordance with University policy, please do not have legal or personal business mail such as bank statements, Motor Vehicles notices or magazines sent to the department. Outgoing business mail needs a barcode in order to leave campus. See faculty support staff (5102 Etcheverry) to get the proper labels. Personal mail must be sent via outside mail facilities. Visiting scholars may get permission to charge business mail to their host professor's grant.

Mail is picked up and delivered once per day.

Office Supplies/Purchasing

Department office supplies can be given to staff, faculty and visiting faculty only. Please limit your use of these supplies as they are one of our biggest areas of expense. Order through Bonnie Korpi, 5102 EH, 2-3458, korpi@me

Room Reservations

Conference rooms in Etcheverry can be reserved by faculty and staff in Mechanical Engineering only. If you are an ME student, you may request that a staff person make the reservation for you. Faculty and staff can access on-line room reservations.

Class rooms can be reserved through Anayancy Paz, anayancy@me, 2-4094.

Webmail

Web-based Mail is an email system that allows you to read your email from any computer connected to the Internet using a web browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer. The Web Mail system will use IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) to download email from the server, which is particularly suitable to mobile users who like to access their mail on multiple computers. Log in (available to users with DECF accounts)
