Stationary Water Tank

The Water Testing Tank allows models to be run in a stationary aqueous environment for flow visualization and particle imaging velocimetry (PIV).  At 8' in length with a 4' x 4' cross section, It serves as a preliminary testing facility for experiments that will be run at the Towing Tank at the Richmond Field Station.  An upper platform provides a staging area for models to be immersed in the tank.
