Most of the patients have hand, arm or neck pain related to work involving computers or repetitive hand activities such as CAD engineering, computer animation, laboratory work, material handling, and assembly work. Typical medical problems include tendonitis, trigger finger, tenosynovitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle pain syndromes, thorcic outlet syndrome, ulnar neuropathy, and cervical radiculopathy.

Dr. Rempel received his MD from the UCSF School of Medicine in 1982 and completed residency training in internal medicine at Valley Medical Center in San Jose. He is board certified in internal medicine and occupational medicine.
