ME Course Descriptions

The following information is gathered from the latest edition of the On-line General Catalog of the University of California at Berkeley. The notation (F) or (SP) indicates the semester (fall or spring) in which the class is usually offered.

Each unit represents three hours per week of student work, including both class attendance and preparation. Most classes are offered for a fixed number of units. Others are offered for variable units, depending on the work done by the student.

On campus: Catalogs are available for $6.50 (U.S.) on the UC Berkeley campus in the Cal Student Store, in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Center.

By mail: To order a General Catalog by mail, first determine the appropriate mail rate:

United States: $12.50 first class
Canada, Mexico: $12.50 airmail
Asia, Africa, the Pacific: $30.00 airmail
Europe: $27.00 airmail
