This field will have a significant impact on medicine, electronics, and materials. Current research in this area requires efficient and effective numerical technologies, including large-scale molecular simulation and multiscale methods. The goal of this symposium is to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners to discuss various aspects of computational methods and problems, especially in simulating and designing novel nanomaterails and nanodevices. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): * Multi-scale modeling and simulation of nanoscale materials * Nanomaterial fabrication, synthesis, and processing simulations * Nanoelectronic and other nanosystem simulations * Large-scale molecular methods and simulations in nano-science and technology * Modeling and simulation for Nano electromechanical systems * Parallel algorithms and computational methods in nano-materials processing, characteristics, and statistical analysis * Large computing systems for nano-science (computational and network systems)
