Minisymposium description:

Substantial progress has been made in the solution of a wide variety of
complex, industrial applications with commercial finite element codes.
Continuous improvements in hardware as well as advanced algorithms to
simulate nonlinear and multi-physics problems coupled with state-of-art
solvers, parallel processing, CAD connectivity, automated global
re-meshing and design optimization techniques have made it possible for
engineers to now routinely apply commercial codes in the design and
manufacturing environment.

Vendors of commercial software are invited to discuss the recent
advances and contributions that have significantly impacted the life of
the user and industrial design/manufacturing of products/processes in
terms of numerical accuracy, computational efficiency, robustness and
ease-of-use/modeling.
