Topics of the minisymposia will include - energy conservation in numerical integration schemes - treatment of contact in explicit schemes - beyond's coulomb's law - multiscale modelling in particular in situations involving localized heating, or microrugosities. Confirmed participants include scientists from Michelin and from the French Atomic Commission.
