Significant effort has been devoted on the ability to control of the nanoscale structures via innovative synthetic approaches, and to model and simulate the behavior of nanocomposites. This symposium focuses on the methodologies used to model polymer and/or metallic-based nanocomposites. Topics, such as constitutive modeling, interfacial behavior, fracture, debonding, are especially encouraged but not limited to. Theoretical, computational, and experimental investigations that provide insight into this field should be included.
