Minisymposium description:
------------------------- 

The minisymposium will explore frontal phenomena in combustion,
polymerization, solidification, etc.  Talks will address recent
advances in numerics, plus analysis and experiments.  Topics will
include front dynamics (observation, simulation, existence, stability,
bifurcation) and modeling, both in a variety of media (such as
heterogeneous media) and geometries (e.g. in two and three
dimensions).
