Minisymposium description:

The minisymposium will discuss the possible Lagrangian formalisms of ideal 
fluid dynamics such as the Clebsch formulation and their extensions to 
viscous flows.Moreover the opportunities and challenges in using
the functionals for constructing efficient computation fluid dynamics
algorithms will be discussed. Finally the interconnections between  
those algorithms and multi-grid approaches will be exposed.
