This minisymposium will be an opportunity for researchers to present and discuss their recent developments in both the theory and application of computational methods used in modeling, simulation, identification, characterization, design and optimization of traditional and advanced composite materials (such as textiles) and their manufacturing processes. Next to original research and case studies in any of the aforementioned areas, review papers and demo presentations from industry that address capabilities and limitations of current and future computational tools in different aspects of composites are also welcome. Please forward your paper abstracts to milani@MIT.EDU for a review by two independent referees.
