Instructions to Speakers

Dear USNCCM9 technical session speakers:

Thank you very much for your participation in the conference. In what follows, we would like to provide instructions regarding your presentation at the conference.

1. Please bring your own laptop computer to project your presentation or arrange with other session speakers to share a laptop. The conference will not provide laptops for projection.

2. To safeguard against potential equipment failures or incompatibilities with the LCD projector, please have the electronic version of your presentation available on a DVD or a USB storage device.

3. Please make sure to bring a power chord (and, for some international speakers, a power plug converter) to avoid running out of battery during your presentation.

4. The conference will not provide overhead projectors for speakers, thus no presentations using transparencies will be possible.

5. Bear in mind that the duration of a regular presentation is 20 minutes plus 2 minutes of questions-and-answers. Keynote lectures are alloted 40 minutes for the presentation plus 4 minutes for questions-and-answers.

6. A speaker preparation room will be available starting Sunday afternoon to test the compatibility of your laptop with the LCD projector.

7. Laser pointers will not be provided.
