Dr. Arun Majumdar, Almy & Agnes Maynard Professor of Mechanical Engineering, has recently joined as a member of the Nanotechnology Advisory Group for the US President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). The purpose of this Group is to serve as a source of technical facts and information for PCAST in its assessment of nanotechnology. The appointment is till September 2005.
