Professors Liwei Lin, A. P. Pisano and V. P. Carey are coauthors of the paper entitled "Thermal Bubble Formation on Polysilicon Micro Resistors," which has been selected as recipient of the 2000 Best Paper Award by the Heat Transfer Division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The Heat Transfer Division established the Best Paper Award to recognize the paper, and its authors, that has been published in the Journal of Heat Transfer within the last year that has significantly contributed to technology and the science of heat transfer.
