Computer Support
Computer and Network Services (CNS). CNS oversees the computing resources and data nework operations for the instructional, research, and administrative divisions of the department. This group operates, manages and maintains six instructional computer-based laboratories used by graduate and undergraduate students.
Davis Etcheverry Computing Facility (DECF). DECF provides servers and two client labs open for students, faculty and staff use. The open lab includes workstations, PCs, multimedia equipment as well as a wide range of available software.

To obtain keys/cardkeys for Etcheverry and Hesse Halls, contact Dan Essley, dessley@nuc.berkeley.edu, 6161 Etcheverry Hall, 510-642-7789, Tuesday through Friday 9:00am - 11:00am.

Mechanical Key Request Form
Students and visitors are reqiured to pay a $20.00 deposit (check or money order only; no cash) which covers all keys. The deposit is required when keys are issued. The deposit will be refunded when keys are returned to 6161 EH. -
Cardkey Request Form
A fee of $10.00 will be charged to replace lost cardkeys. Faculty must submit approval via email for doors with coded entry.
