What is it? An innovative cable car turntable system for the city of San Francisco

PROBLEM:
The city of San Francisco's cable car operators are sustaining injuries due to the large force they must exert to turn the cable car turntables. They have requested automatic operation of the turntables; however, the city wants to keep the turntables in their vintage manual appearance since it is a feature attraction of the city.

SOLUTION:
We have come up with a solution to satisfy everyone: a semi-automatic cable car turntable.
