CATALOG DESCRIPTION
This course will cover the optimal mechanical design of mechanical systems and components. A variety of optimization techniques will be developed, applied to mechanical design, and implemented on the computer.
COURSE PREREQUISITES
Graduate standing and the equivalent of both 102B and 128.
